Welcome
to the world of Sunspryte: breeders of top quality Welsh Terriers in
Sarasota, FL with over 100 home bred champions and multiple Best of
Breed and Best in Shows awarded to dogs they've bred.
Like
most families, the Beatties first fell in love with a dog from the
pound. When he passed away, they started looking for one just like
him. When they couldn't find it, Carole and Bob decided to get a
"good" dog. That was back in the early 80's.
Shortly thereafter, they discovered dog shows and began showing both
Wire Fox and Welsh Terriers and it snowballed from there.
An AKC judge
since 1991, Carole Beattie no longer exhibits her own dogs
but has continued breeding quality Welsh Terriers with stellar
results. Dogs of Sunspryte breeding have consistently been
among those ranked top in their breed. "We
live for our dogs and consider them part of the family. They share
our home, rather than being shut away in a kennel, and all our puppies are raised in the
house. With so
many exceptional dogs that have shared our lives over the years, its difficult
to chose just a few to feature on the website."
